Color Doppler Ultrasound
A color Doppler ultrasound is a noninvasive test that uses high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to bounce off circulating red blood cells to estimate the blood flow through the blood vessels. A B/W ultrasound produces images by using sound waves, but it cannot show blood flow.
